K2 8611m is the second highest peak in the world and highest peak in Pakistan. K2 also known as CHOGORI which is Balti language means the king of mountains.K2 has variously be described as "awesome" , " Killer " and "Savage Mountain.
 
This is because of massiveness of its size and unsuccessful attempts made on it by various expedition parties.K2 is rocky mountain upto 6000-M, beyond which it becomes an ocean of snow. K2 8611-M is situated on the Pakistan China border in the mighty Karakorams. The traditional rout to its base camp goes from Skardu Baltistan which is linked with Islamabad by Karakoram Highway as well as by air. From Skardu the rout goes via Shigar-Dassu-Askole upto Concordia over the Baltoro Glacier.

TRIP ITINERARY:

 Day 01        Arrive Islamabad. Transfer to hotel for overnight.  ( 18 June 2016- Fix Date) 

 Day 02         Free day at Islamabad

 Day 03        Skardu / Chilas

· Fly to Skardu PK-451 (10:35 – 11:35). (Flight is subject to weather). Upon arrival transfer to Hotel

· In case of cancellation of flight then  drive by coach to Chilas  on Karakoram Highway O/N Lodges

Day 04        Chilas / Skardu - free day  at Skardu

Day 05     Skardu - Briefing at Tourism Department of Gilgit Baltistan. Final preparation at Skardu O/N Hotel  

 Day 06        Drive by Jeep to Askole: (3000m)

 Day 07        Trek to Jhola: (3200m)

Day 08        Trek to Paiyu: (3600m)

Day 09        Rest  Day Paiyu: (3600m)

Day 10        Trek to Urdukas: (4200m)

Day 11        Goro II: (4500m)

(06) Rescue Evacuation :
Emergency rescue evacuation cost, if needed and all other personal nature expenses   (Note: Please kindly make a Helicopter Search and Rescue policy in your Insurance)



Expedition Terms and condition 

 

1.   Company Responsibility 

 

·      The company is fully responsible to follow up the mentioned service include list as well as service exclude list I.E. provided to our clients.

·      The company is responsible to make an introduction between member and Sherpa , guide and others Nepali staff .

·      Company is fully responsible to make a proper management of whole expedition and also to provide a qualitative service to member and staff according to Service list . 

·      If there occurs any emergency problem to our clients and staff – we will be fully stand by to bring up the good solution to its problem - after the requirement.

 

2.  Clients Responsibility 

·      We Suggest Our clients to focus on safety, security and training – company will not be responsible if there occurs any accident due to self-careless.

·      Each and every clients must do their emergency helicopter rescue insurance having coverage of minimum USD – 25000 – Beside they must also do medical and travel insurance for each safe side. We also would like to suggest all of our clients to make a trip cancellation insurance if possible – Natural disaster knows No timing and even we cant guarantee our health problem so, Its best to stay safe side our self.

·      Service include will strictly be followed incase if clients need extra services – Extra cost will be printed.

 

3.   Mode of Payment

·      Full Payment should be made before one month of expedition Begin – We accept bank transfer, Cash, card slot and as well as demand draft.

·      If the clients make the payment through Bank transfer, then bank transfer charge has to be borne by the clients.

 

4.  Cancellation Policy

·      If the Expedition is made cancel before 20 days then 5% of Full payment will be Deducted where as 95% of the payment will be Refunded.

·      If the Expedition is made cancel   before 10 days then 50% of full payment will be refunded where as 50% will be deducted.

·      If the Expedition is made cancel before 5 days of the Expedition begin then 20% of full payment will be Refunded where as 80% will be Deducted.

·      No Refund is made after the departure of the Expedition – and if any Natural Calamities or Disaster will create a problem as well as his/her own Health Problem and self-decision also the same condition will be followed.

EXPEDITION TO MT. K-2 (PAKISTAN)

 

2004:

In 2004 Mr. Mingma Sherpa, Managing Director of our agency had summit Mt. K-2 on 27 July.  46 people were able to reach to the summit within 2 days. Mr. Mingma was main person to fix up the rope up to the summit. The name of expedition was “Swiss – Italian Joint Team”.  The weather at that time was very good so there were no any accidents during this expedition.

2012:

In 2012 we had organized our first expedition to Mt. K-2. The name of this expedition was “Seven Summit K-2 Expedition 2012”. Mr. Chhang Dawa Sherpa, Director of our agency reached to the summit along with other 22 people. This had been the world record to reach maximum number of people to the summit from same team. The team work and weather condition was very good so much of the people were able to reach to the summit. There were no any accidents during this expedition.

2013:

In 2013 we had organized our second expedition to Mt. K-2. Our members were unable to summit this time because of bad weather and less manpower. They were able to reach up to Camp – 4. There was no any accident.



2014:

On 26th July 2014, All together 19 climbers reached at the top of K2 Summit. First Nepali Women to summit K2 achieved new record. 3 women from Nepal Dawa Yangzum Sherpa, Maya Sherpa and Pasang Lhamu Sherpa reached at the summit on 26th July 2014 and achieved new record too.Along with them Mr. Adrian Michael Hayes from UK,Mr Al Hancock from Canada,Mrs Christ Burke from New Zealand, Mr. Ferran Latorre Torres from Spain and Miss Lou Jing from China Summited K2.

On 27th July 2014, 3 American Climber along with their 3 Sherpas also summited K2.
