SST Manaslu Expedition Summit Update #1!!
28.09.2022 SST Manaslu Expedition Summit Update!!
A huge congratulation to our team members and sherpa guide who have successfully reached the main summit of Mt. Manaslu (8163m) - the 8th highest mountain.
The members and guides made it to the main summit of Mt. Manaslu although the weather was severely harsh for climbing for most of the time during the expedition. After the avalanche between C3 to C4, most of the members returned to base camp from Camp 3.
Summiteer List (28.09.2022):
- Rouhollah Kazemi
- Benjamin Jonathon Rose
- Ming Temba Sherpa
- Gelu Sherpa
- Sajid Ali (summited on 27.09.2022 without the use of supplement oxygen)
Stay tuned for more summit updates.
Most of the members are already in higher camps waiting for the good weather window for the summit push. The rest of the teams are in good shape in Basecamp. This autumn SST is organizing the Manaslu expedition for more than 350 individuals including around 100 members.
