Trip Introduction

Manaslu Trek starts from Shotikhola; via Arughat. Arughat is a small city, which borders two, district Gorkha and Dhading. The trail starts alongside the Budhi Gandaki River roams around and climbs towards the region known as Nupri. Higher we move, rich Tibetan influence can be seen on the customs and traditions. This region is home to many endangered wild animals like Snow leopard and Musk Deer. The highest point in this trek is the “Larkya La pass” situated at the height of 5,106m, which is considered as one of the most challenging passes crossing the Himalayas. Another attraction of the trip is Pungyen Gumba at 4,400m

  1. Arrival & Departure:Airport - Hotel transfers – Airport (Pick Up and Drop).
  2. Hotel Accommodation In Kathmandu: 3 nights sharing twin bed room at hotel in Kathmandu on bed & breakfast Basis.
  3. Welcome or Farewell Dinner: One Welcome or Farewell Dinner in tourist standard restaurant in Kathmandu with Office’s Staffs.
  4. Permit: All necessary paper works: Trekking Permit (including MCAP & ACAP) and special permit, TIMS Card & conservation entry fee.    
  5. Insurance:Insurance for all involved Nepalese staffs during the trek.
  6. Trekking Map: Manaslu Region Trekking map.
  7. Member transportation:  
    -Land Transportation: Kathmandu – Arughat – Shoti Khola and while returning Dharapani - Kathmandu (by reserved Jeep, as per itinerary)
  8. Member Luggage: Up to 15 Kg per member for personal baggage during the trek carrying by porters.
  9. Food & Lodging: Food 3 meals a day (BDL; including tea and coffee) along with accessible accommodation at Hotel/Lodge/Tea house/Camp during the trek.
  10. Drinking: 2 liters boiled water to carry on thermos per day per member.
  11. Some Alcoholic drinks thrice (3 times) during the entire trek.
  12. Guide:A local government licensed Guide during the trek and in Kathmandu sight seeing.
  13. Porter: Porters (1 trekker: 1 porter) during the trek.
  14. Staff Salary and allowance:All Nepalese staffs & porters daily wages, salary, equipment, foods & clothing.
  15. Sight Seeing:Sightseeing major world heritage sights around Kathmandu Valley [Pashupatinath Temple, Swoyambu (Monkey temple) and Kathmandu Durbar Square] by professional guide.
  16. Comprehensive Medical kit.
  1. Air Fare: International flight airfare (from and to Kathmandu).
  2. Nepal entry Visa fee: Nepali Visa fee US$ 40 per person for 30 days (to be applied for 60 days (USD$ 100).
  3. Lunch & Dinner: Lunch & dinner in during the stay in Kathmandu (also in case of early return from Trekking than the scheduled itinerary).
  4. Extra night in Kathmandu:Extra nights accommodation in Kathmandu. In case of early arrival or late departure, early return from Trekking  (due to any reason) than the scheduled itinerary.
  5. Insurance: Travel and high altitude insurance, accident, medical & emergency evacuation.
  6. Rescue Evacuation: Medical Insurance and emergency rescue evacuation cost if required. (Rescue, Repatriation, Medication, Medical Tests and Hospitalization costs.)
